This Project was inspired by the feel of groups of people gathering in city centres or parks on sunny days, all listening to their own music.
Locale aims to allow users to link their phones to the box via an app and BLE beacons. Users can use the app to add songs to a community playlist, with each playlist being uniquely associated with that box, and only available within its range.
Other users can then use the app to listen to the community created playlist, allowing different groups of people within the same space to listen to same playlist.
